NYUPoly CSAW DHS Quiz
NYUPoly Cyber Security Awareness Week
From its humble beginnings as a small, local cyber security competition to the largest student-centered cyber security competition in the United States, CSAW has become a true worldwide phenomenon. Now in its 10th year, CSAW has grown to include a research conference, talks by industry experts, and a career fair featuring an impressive list of corporate partners.
Hosted by NYU-Poly’s Information Systems and Security Laboratory (ISIS Lab), the competition’s hands-on challenges are created and managed by NYU-Poly graduate and undergraduate students in consultation with NYU-Poly faculty and industry leaders. CSAW attracts the best and brightest high school, undergraduate and graduate students from around the globe, making it an event for students, by students, fostered by experts.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security(DHS) Quiz is a mile wide and a foot deep in testing your knowledge in a range of information security topics. Covered topics include network security, cryptography, malware, application and web security, protocols, history of security, digital forensics, policy, risk management and standards.
The quiz will be held at NYU-Poly on November 15-16, 2013 during CSAW. It is open to high school, graduate, undergraduate as well as to all perspective students who are present and registered for CSAW. There are no travel grants for this competition.
